Our Vision Faithful to Christ, Seeking and Serving His Call
Our Church-Wide Priorities
PRAY, SERVE, GROW - Pray more for the receptivity of the congregation to a movement of the Spirit in the life of the community.
- Celebrate and highlight those who are already on mission.
- Engage and listen to individuals in our congregation and support and facilitate "whole-life" discipleship.
After identifying local needs to which the congregation could respond, we, in cooperation with other churches and community partners, hosted Tent City 3 from December 2008-February 2009 and again in 2010, June through September. A Community Garden was begun in 2011 and hundreds of pounds of organic produce were donated to Hopelink's foodbank the first year.
Located in Shoreline, Washington, just north of Seattle, Calvin Presbyterian has been a consistent witness to Christ in our community for over 50 years with longstanding strengths in music and global missions. |
